Our church member Veterans pictured are Ronnie Williams, Lee Lentsch, Ron Gross, Hank Ivy, Gary Norris and Jack Peterson. Not pictured is Ward Matthews. Our Guyer R.O.T.C. members are Yasmin and Leyben Gross. The R.O.T.C. honored the local Veterans Monday morning, November 12, 2018.
Thursday, September 20th, the seniors met for a fun time of lunch and games. This gathering will happen on the 3rd Thursdays of the month. Stay tuned for more information about next month.
AWANA club is happening each Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. for elementary school students. For more information call Gary Norris at 940-390-6512.
The photo above shows some the people who came out to the first planning meeting to help organize the church's participation in this missions outreach. Hank Ivy headed the meeting, and plans are now underway to support Samaritan's Purse's "Operation Christmas Child" or "Operation Shoebox," where church members donate small gifts to pack in a shoe box, and send to children around the world.
Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
Check out the culmination of the work to get the Shoe boxes ready to send, in order to make their destinations by Christmas.
We are so happy you found our website. We hope you will listen to the preaching and the music, and see some things you like. We are a friendly church, with lots of the Word, music and fellowship. We sing traditional hymns, and read from the King James Bible.
Gary Derden played some beautiful piano music during the offering, followed by the congregational singing of The Doxology.
